POSITION SUMMARY Process all guest check-insby confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing andactivating room key. Process all payment types such as roomcharges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process all check-outsincluding resolving any late and disputed charges. Answer, record,and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, orconcerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of roomsfor check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors anddispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. Supply guests withdirections and information regarding property and local areas ofinterest. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures),identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computersystem. Cash guests' personal checks and traveler'schecks. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance anddrop receipts according to Accounting specifications. Follow allcompany safety and security policies and procedures; reportaccidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Followall company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personalappearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality ofproprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome andacknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipateand address guests service needs; assist individuals withdisabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak withothers using clear and professional language; answer telephonesusing appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive workingrelationships with others. Comply with quality assuranceexpectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extendedperiod of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objectsweighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.equivalent.
