Reporting to the Head of Post Production, theSenior Editor will work across a range of television series andstand-alone productions. He/she will be responsible shaping thevisual identity of media content, leading the post production oflarge-scale major series, ensuring the highest standards of qualityand creativity, collaborate closely with series and seniorproducers, directors, and bring the programming tolife. JOBDESCRIPTIONWorkingclosely with series and senior producers, producer, directors andwhen called upon assistant producers to deliver the right productto the audience.Provide experience and skillsin visual and audio story telling.Fostering acollaborative and creative workenvironment.Mentoring junior editors andproducers.Providing constructive feedback toenhance the story telling of the series orproductionLead in editing high-profilecomplicated projects.Utilize advanced editingskills to craft compelling narratives, ensure seamless continuity,and maintain the channel's visualstyle.Work closely with the program makers tointerpret creative briefs and develop innovative concepts for videocontent.Offer creative insights and contributeto the development of visual storytelling techniques that resonatewith target audience.Oversee the qualitycontrol process, ensuring that all video content meets thechannel's standards for technical excellence, aestheticappeal, and brand consistency.Conduct thoroughreviews of edited footage, providing feedback and making necessaryrevisions.Stay abreast of the latest trends,techniques, and technologies in video editing andpost-production.Continuously enhance owntechnical skills and explore new tools to optimize workflowefficiency and enhance the quality ofproductions.Manage multiple projectssimultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resourceseffectively to meet deadlines.Collaborate withproduction managers and production coordinators to developrealistic timelines and budgets for eachproject.Foster strong working relationshipswith cross-functional teams including cinematographers, sounddesigners, and graphic artists.Collaborateclosely throughout the production process to ensure seamlessintegration of visual elements and sounddesign.Act as a trusted advisor, offeringstrategic guidance and creative solutions to achieve theirobjectives
