To do this we have developed a variety of unique wellness programs that are producing excellent results.The OpportunityAs Proactive is growing, we are looking for an Employment Consultant to deliver vocational rehabilitation and career development services to clients in our Otago/Southland regions.You will be based in either, Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell or Invercargill clinic, working alongside an existing team of Vocational Consultants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Doctors, Exercise Physiologists and Psychologists across NZ. You will be responsible for delivering back to work programmes, occupational assessments, career services, job search and training services to support our clients in their vocational journey. With clinics nationwide, you will also have access to the support and brilliant minds of our local and South Island based vocational consultants.Your role will include the following:Flexible Part time OR Full time work. Based in either, Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell or Invercargill clinic working across the Otago/Southland regions.Travel may be required with business demand. Co-ordination and delivery of vocational interventions to support clients to become work ready. Occupational assessments to identity suitable alternative work options. CV, cover letter, interview skills and job search education. Liaison with a range of training suppliers to coordinate skill development.Delivery of specific individualised vocational training courses.Management of case funding including future requests.Maintaining external stakeholder relationships with ACC, training providers and other external professionals.Working alongside and communicating with internal allied health team to support the client. Are you an Occupational Therapist or Vocational Consultant or Career Practitioner with the following skillset and qualifications?Tertiary qualification (Level 6 or above) in a career specific field or a people related field with demonstrated competency in line with CDANZ requirements.Professional or Full membership of CDANZ or the ability to meet membership requirements. Minimum 2 years relevant experience in providing vocational, occupational assessment services or career development is preferred. Accredited IOA and VIOA assessor is preferred. Commitment to client satisfaction & unwavering client focus. Demonstrated ability to effectively provide vocational rehabilitation and career development services to a high standard and maintain relationships with referrers and colleagues. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate in a clear and positive way. Sound understanding of vocational independence pathway, ACC, MSD, private insurers, labour market and current job search requirements.Relevant postgraduate qualification (or willing to work towards) in line with ACC requirements.Full NZ/AU Driver's LicenseThe Benefits:Full cost of CDANZ membership.Full time, part time or contracting opportunities available. The support of a dynamic and highly experienced and diverse team. Opportunity to expand your skill set and to progress your career. Professional supervision. Access to experts who are available to support you and your work with clientsLaptop and phone provided for employees.External professional support for mental and emotional wellbeingStructured onboarding and ongoing support and assistance for all staff, no matter your experience level.Autonomy, flexibility, and solid opportunities for career progression are just the start!At Proactive we embrace diversity and welcome people from all gender identities, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religions, and those with disabilities.
