Qatar Nationals preferredACCOUNTABILITIESToproduce and steward Reliability improvement recommendations thatwill contribute to the safety and overall field efficiencyimprovement by analyzing and learning lessons from unplanned eventsfor technical failures across all Maintenance discipline areas.JOBDIMENSIONSWork produced by Reliability Engineer has the followingimpact:Reliability Engineer issue analyses and recommendations thatare presented to senior management and shareholder (Qatar Energyand Total Energies) to justify company productionperformance.Recommendations are taken in account to build mediumand long term investment plan of Maintenance departmentResults ofanalysis are used to change the way preventive maintenance is beingexecuted by offshore team.ACTIVITIESDrive an Incident Freeenvironment / mindset within the Department and with allstakeholdersPerform/review and provide coaching forReliability-Centered Maintenance studies to optimize preventivemaintenance plans. Provide support for Maintenance Methods team andMIECProduce monthly Reliability reports indicating criticalequipment Reliability and key issues from PALM corrective data,Smart Signal and other data sources.Deep analyse monthly SECEreport to improve Maintenance and integrity Backlog BacklogCarryout SECE performance results analysis to optimise maintenance testfrequencyCompile vital function availability and reliability statusfrom other maintenance disciplineConduct and lead Root CauseAnalyses (investigations) and to produce/steward appropriateactions to mitigate or avoid reoccurrence. Support HSE /Reliability joint investigations where technical failures have beena significant contributor.Focus on uptime/output losses and thecauses of those losses (i.e Pareto analysis), prioritizing losses,eliminations plans, and implementation of those plans.Leadobsolescence studies and produce strategies for long termsustainability, produce/steward appropriate actions to optimizelongevity of obsolete equipment where appropriate and toproduce/steward recommendations for equipment where obsolescencecannot be tolerated.Develop list of Top Reliability issues (BadActors) affecting production performance/business efficiency,investigate and produce/steward action plans to mitigate or avoidreoccurrence. Review these Bad Actors periodically for repeatissues and feedback into action plans.Developp and implement smartreporting from online monitoring sources for automated andsemi-automated Reliability data calculations.Provide ReliabilityEngineering support in the design and development of brown andgreen field sitesMonitor Data quality and provide coaching forreporting improvements on defects reports in PALM.Promotereliability awareness centered around PALM reportingCoach engineerin the team on their tasksPromote cost awareness and innovationwithin his/her teamAll staff must be willing to participate inCrisis Response Training and to assist during Emergency ResponseSituations if required.CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENTPosition is ina OPCO (JV) operating oil & gas facility withoffshore/onshore (non-producing) sites, based in Doha, Qatar.Theposition is part of the permanent team and is on resident basis (5da week). Trip to offshore are required on ah-hocbasis.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBSc degree inscience or technical field, preferably holding a certification inMaintenance/ReliabilityMinimum 8-10 years' experience inthe petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration orsimilar Industry in MaintenanceSignificant knowledge of offshoreplant and equipment and maintenance systemsProficiency withtechnical manuals, PFDs, P&IDs, Datasheets, Cause andEffect ChartsExperience in leadership with a strong work ethic,good presentation skills and ability to communicate ideas, conceptsand technical information to a broad audience.Working knowledge offormal Root Cause Analysis, Life Analysis, RAM, FMEA andReliability/Risk Centered Maintenance Tools andTechniques.Medically fit to travel to offshore oil & gasplatform.Results driven approach and attitude.Fluent in English(listening, writing and speaking) and its technicalvocabulary.Proven experience on Computerized Maintenance andInspection Management System (CMIMS), specially with SAP PMmodule
