Job Description

Role Purpose As Food Asset Development Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development of agricultural and food production assets, such as greenhouses, fish farms and hatchery, processing plants, and other facilities. You will oversee the planning, design, and construction of these assets, ensuring that they meet the client's requirements, adhere to building codes and regulations, and are completed within budget and on schedule. Your role will involve managing multiple projects simultaneously and working closely with other professionals, such as agricultural specialists, engineers, contractors, and government agencies. Introduction As an Agricultural and Food Production Asset Development Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the development of agricultural and food production assets, ensuring that they meet the NEOM Food Company s requirements, managing the correct procedures and processes, and are completed within budget and on schedule. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of project management and leadership skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES Responsibilities • Represent the proponent (NEOM Food Company) in the planning, design, and construction of agricultural and food production assets, such as greenhouses, fish farms and hatchery, processing plants, and other facilities. • Develop project plans and schedules and ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time. • Work closely with other professionals, such as agricultural specialists, engineers, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that projects meet the client's requirements, adhere to building codes and regulations, and are completed to the highest standards. • Monitor and report the progress of projects and identify and resolve any issues that arise. • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders and ensure that their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. • Input project budgets and financial forecasts and ensure that projects are delivered within budget. • Ensure that all projects comply with health and safety regulations, and that all risks are identified and managed appropriately. • Develop and implement policies and procedures for agricultural and food production asset development and ensure that they are adhered to by all members of the team. BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, and Experience • Minimum of 10 years of experience in asset development, project management, in food or a related field. • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans and schedules, manage budgets, and monitor progress. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. • In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, and experience working with government agencies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle. • Knowledge of agricultural practices, food production processes, and technologies. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of professionals. • Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
