- Carry out daily inspections to achieve the quality of construction as per approved method of statement, Inspection Test Plan (ITP), approved drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
- Monitor all material received at construction site as per requirements.
- Monitor the closure of Non-Compliance Report (NCR), Corrective Action Reports.
- Monitor all construction activities and review Site Surveillance Report submitted by Contractor.
- Must have a good knowledge of all phases of construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline.
- Attend inspections as listed on the Request for Inspection (RFI) and Material Inspection Request (MIR).
- Attend weekly Quality Standards Toolbox Talks with the Contractor QC and Construction Teams.
- Maintain a Log to monitor status of Request for Inspection (RFI) and make sure all QA/QC documents of the entire project such as, approved inspection requests, calibration certificates, test results, Concrete Delivery ticket Non-Conformance Reports, Corrective Action Reports, Site Surveillance Reports are kept in order by the Contractor.
- Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections.
- Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
- Attend all field quality assurance tests and inspect all construction associated activities and ensure compliance to all specifications.
- Analyze and interpret all specifications and monitor all deviations for same to ensure compliance with all procedures and maintain log of daily progress to prepare reports.
- Monitor and perform regular check on all contractor and inspector work progress and maintain.
- Ensure compliance with all local and International Codes & Standards in all construction activities.
- Monitor all construction activities and their progress and ensure adherence to all procedures and specifications and evaluate all contract plans and maintain safety in all construction operations according to required building codes.
