Reference: JHB006201-AM-2Our client, a successful global industrial company is urgently looking for a Chief Information Officer / CIO to be responsible for the technology infrastructure, systems and process alignment of the company. The role will be to take responsibility for the company's information technology, computer systems with duties including assessing current processes, recommending software improvements and directing the executive team on the best processes.This is an exciting opportunity to work in Dammam - Saudi Arabia. - it is a permanent role, with long term prospects.Duties & ResponsibilitiesIn order to be considered the following is required:Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years working in a technological / technical roleMinimum of 5 years of senior management or executive experiencePrevious experience as a CIO, CTO, Director or a similar leadership roleExceptional team / people management skillsStrong stakeholder experienceData managementVendor and partner managementProject managementAbility to enhance processesA highly analytical mind set with superb problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication and presentation skillsResponsibilities:Ensuring that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needsOutline the goals for research and developmentManaging IT staff and developing department goalsDeveloping and overseeing the IT budgetPlanning, deploying and maintaining IT systems and operationsOverseeing relationships with vendors, contractors and service providersDevelop goals and strategies to ensure the IT department runs smoothly and effectivelyDirect and establish IT-related projectsMonitor changes in the technology sector to discover ways the company can improve and developSupervise the networks and computer systems in the company to ensure optimal performancePlan and direct the implementation of new IT systemsProvide leadership to IT specialists and other staff within the companyCreate and adapt technological platforms to improve the client experienceTroubleshoot data-related issues and establish regular maintenanceSalary: $14,000 - $16,000 per month / R260,000 - R304,000 (no income tax in Saudi Arabia)The above includes a housing and transport allowance and there will be a 6 monthly potential incentive pay for KPI delivery.Please feel free to email your CV to nicolel@bedifferent.co.za.Information displayed above not limited to advertisement.
