Chief Product Officer (CPO)

urBIZassist is currently looking for a CPO, who is excited about Dubai, about GCC, MENA and looking to ride one of the world's fastest growing regions. The ideal candidate is a vibrant individual from a technical background who understands the entrepreneurship market and knows how to manage a tech team/ drive sales. As CPO, you will lead both our mission to deliver unparalleled product design and development and our journey towards broader goals. This role seeks a visionary capable of driving innovation, understanding the entrepreneur ecosystem’s nuances, and passionately leading us into our next phase of growth.

Minimum Requirements:

You possess at least 3 years (no more than 10 years) in a technology company / technology business / software development / coding / digital marketing.
You are a Technology graduate including engineering or information systems degree with experience in project management & project deployment, from a reputable university.
You are passionate about helping others and customer service oriented. You possess an entrepreneurial spirit with experience tackling startup challenges and seizing opportunities.
Demonstrated leadership in the startup, tech, or product design and development companies with a history of steering businesses towards growth and innovation.
You possess a deep understanding of product design and development, with an aptitude for leveraging best practices and new technologies.
You possess exceptional problem-solving capabilities, adept at navigating through growth and transition.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Vision: Develop and execute a long-term strategy that encompasses urBIZassist’s current offerings while steering towards expanded roles and educational initiatives.
Operational Excellence and Task Management: Ensure top-notch efficiency and effectiveness across operations, with a particular focus on overcoming task management bottlenecks. This involves setting clear priorities, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Market and Industry Insight: Keep abreast of trends, challenges, and opportunities in the startup ecosystem to ensure our services remain cutting-edge and invaluable.
Business Development: Seek new growth avenues, including forging partnerships and entering new markets, to amplify urBIZassist reach and impact.
Community Engagement and Events: Cultivate our community by organizing events and launching online courses, encouraging networking, mentorship, and collaboration among startups and investors.
Team Leadership and Development: Inspire, recruit, and mentor a team dedicated to innovation and excellence, fostering a culture that aligns with our strategic objectives.
Combined cash and Equity Stake up to 5% equity in urBIZassist, vested over two years with a one-year cliff, acknowledging the crucial role of the CTO in our successful launch and long-term growth.
Additional variable, performance-based compensation based on CV. This approach is designed to attract and reward contribution to our success.
