Job Summary: The role will be responsible for end-to-end development and management of the commercial planning cycle and will focus on driving multiple initiatives, tasks and projects driven by Logistics organization. Develop and lead business plans across all logistics businesses and lead the commercial excellence, ensuring a world class customer journey. Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans across the logistics verticals – freight forwarding, warehousing & supply chain and contract logistics.
  • Support in the planning & feasibility studies for the logistics business expansion across the region.
  • Support developing strategy seeking new business opportunities across identified commodity verticals and trade lanes for all logistics businesses.
  • Drives all activities relating to the planning cycle of logistics businesses & commercial sales marketing plans.
  • Own, develops and monitors the commercial pipeline across all sales channels, ensuring pipelines materialize as per the forecasted timelines.
  • Evaluate key client Customer P&L & growth plans.
  • Analyze business client/job margins - volume, price across assets/services - identifying issues & yield management.
  • Aid with modelling and scenario testing for new products and business opportunities.
  • Work Closely with Sales Team to support sales planning & analysis.
  • Help establish/streamline policies and procedures throughout the departments within the region, support best practices in sales forecasting, reporting, and communications.
  • Own the volume & revenue budget process across the logistics business.
  • Responsible to ensure alignment between budgets & business plans and execution thereof.
  • Monitors process effectiveness and efficiency against goals and objectives.
  • Maintains a Performance management unit across all logistics businesses to capture both individual and team/business unit performance.
  • Monitor and track performance, highlighting opportunities and areas of concern in a timely manner for actions to be worked to address.
  • Work with relevant business heads on specific projects/deep dives and ensure follow through; provide timely updates on issues/projects.
  • Compile & provide trends, insights on market size & logistics opportunities across the region for leading commodities.
  • Develop dashboards for creating visibility for performance management across logistics businesses.
  • Drive CRM usage across logistics teams ensuring data integrity, data quality and efficient processes.
  • Monitor hygiene process KPIs for CRM usage
Experience, Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in related field. Experience: 8-10 years of experience in similar role, out of which 5+ years of experience in a consulting role. Preferably in Logistics/Transportation/Supply Chain industries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
