Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director of Project Management to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing multiple complex projects across the organization, ensuring their successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices across the organization
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex projects
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align project goals with overall business objectives
  • Manage project portfolios, prioritizing resources and resolving conflicts between projects
  • Conduct regular project reviews and risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Scrum Master) preferred
  • 8+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years in a senior project management role
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Expertise in risk management, budgeting, and financial planning
  • In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and standards
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in relevant sectors
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel as required for project oversight
