Job Description Join ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar as a Mobile Developer (Android Developer) and become a part of our dynamic IT team. We are seeking an experienced professional to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. As an Android Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital services and ensuring seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Work with outside data sources and APIs.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Design, develop, maintain Android apps, collaborate, and integrate external APIs.
Perform unit testing, fix bugs, improve performance, and implement technologies.
Conduct code reviews and stay updated on trends.

Required Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and a passion for mobile application development. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
Experience with Android SDK and working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Familiar with RESTful APIs for Android-backend integration.
Strong Android development skills, including design patterns, performance, and Git.
Experience with CI/CD tools, strong problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
