Job Summary The Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is responsible for leading the organization’s enterprise risk management framework, with a specific focus on business continuity (BC). This role involves identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks, including operational, financial, strategic, and regulatory risks, while ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. The Manager will guide the development and execution of risk management strategies, support business continuity planning and execution, and collaborate with senior leadership and business units to integrate risk management and business continuity practices into operational processes. This position also involves managing a team of risk management professionals and ensuring effective execution of risk management activities across the organization. About the Role Business Continuity (BC) Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business continuity (BC) planning and disaster recovery (DR) initiatives, ensuring that the organization has robust plans in place to continue critical operations during and after disruptions.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and testing the BC and DR plans in coordination with department heads to ensure that the organization is prepared for various crisis scenarios.
  • Conduct business impact analyses (BIA) to determine critical functions and dependencies, ensuring the continuity of essential services and processes.
  • Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of BC strategies with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor, update, and maintain the business continuity framework to ensure it remains aligned with emerging threats and evolving regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees on business continuity protocols and response actions during disruptions.
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework:
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the organization’s ERM framework, ensuring it integrates risk management practices into decision-making across the organization.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize key enterprise risks, including strategic, operational, financial, and regulatory risks, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the organization’s risk appetite and ensure that it is aligned with business objectives and communicated across the organization.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to industry best practices.
Risk Assessments and Mitigation:
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, ensuring that all departments and business units identify, assess, and manage risks effectively.
  • Support business units in developing risk mitigation strategies and action plans, ensuring they are aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts, providing recommendations for improvements where necessary.
Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare regular reports on the status of risk management activities, including risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and residual risk levels, for senior management and the Board.
  • Communicate key risk management findings, challenges, and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring that risk considerations are integrated into strategic decision-making.
  • Track and report on risk exposure, providing recommendations on how to address high-priority risks.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Manage and mentor a team of risk management professionals, setting clear objectives and providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the risk management team, ensuring effective communication and integration of risk management processes across departments.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify development opportunities, and provide training and support to help team members grow professionally.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the ERM framework and suggest improvements to ensure that it remains aligned with industry standards and the organization’s evolving needs.
  • Stay informed of emerging risk management trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices, ensuring that the organization’s risk management practices are current and effective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management considerations into business processes, ensuring risk management is embedded in day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Risk Management , Finance , Business Continuity , or a related field with a focus on risk management .
  • 5–8 years of toal experience, including at least 3–4 years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing risk management functions.
