Accountancy & Finance Recruiter | Saudi Arabia

Hays have partnered with an Investment Firm in Riyadh who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. As the Finance Manager, you will be managing the end-to-end general accounting and financial reporting processes for the firm's operations. This will include the consolidation of data, reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Other responsibilities will include:

Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements set forth by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and other relevant financial authorities in Saudi Arabia
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a robust system of internal financial controls to mitigate risks, safeguard assets, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information
Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, and other key stakeholders to streamline financial processes, identify opportunities for automation, and drive continuous improvement
Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team on the firm's financial health, profitability, and operational efficiency
Manage the firm's audit readiness, serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and facilitate the timely resolution of any audit findings or regulatory inquiries
Lead and develop the financial control team, fostering a strong control environment and promoting a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous learning
Stay up-to-date with changes in Saudi Arabian and GCC accounting regulations, tax requirements, and industry best practices, and proactively implement necessary adjustments

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
6+ years' experience in Finance within Investment or similar industry
Professional certificates in Accounting (CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
CME – 1 is mandatory
