Use various software to track, verify, prioritize and route orders. Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick lists and bills of lading. Direct and prepare the work team for shipping. Check specifications, review barcodes and other features. Supervise and direct the shipping department and provide suggestions to improve team performance. Monitor available budgets and costs. Cooperate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to improve operations. Provide solutions to problems related to shipping orders. Enforce legal regulations and company policies. Prepare periodic reports and evaluate performance. Skills Skills required for the position of Shipping Manager: Strong knowledge of logistics procedures Ability to use shipping document programs such as ASN. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel. Ability to prepare budgets and periodic reports. Possess team direction and leadership skills. Ability to organize tasks and arrange tasks. Ability to follow up on details and provide appropriate solutions to problems. Requirements for working in the position of Shipping Manager: Holding a bachelor's degree. Practical experience in the position of Shipping Manager. #J-18808-Ljbffr
