Job Description

  • Sales Development: Identify and target potential clients in the Horeca sector, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering businesses. Generate leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their needs and offer tailored solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collection: Responsible for the timely payment collection within agreed terms and conditions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services. Provide customers with relevant product information, demonstrations, and training as necessary.
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct product presentations, negotiate prices, and close sales with Horeca clients. Develop customized proposals and contracts for clients.
  • Order Management: Oversee the order process, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues related to orders, deliveries, or product quality.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for sales growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure seamless communication and effective service delivery.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate sales records, prepare regular sales reports, and provide insights on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in the Horeca or related industry.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the Horeca or foodservice industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the Horeca market, including key players and industry trends.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
