Job Description Job Purpose This position is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of the physical structure, utility services, equipment, fixtures, and furnishings of the hotel facilities and staff housing complex. - Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance programs for various systems such as (not limited to):
- Communicate with engineering management and team leader regarding possible improvements to increase efficiency.
- Coordinate and inform engineering management and team leader of any disruptions to service of any kind.
- Always implement safe work practices, efficient methods, proper preventative maintenance, and repair.
- Develop skills through training and hands-on experience.
- Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times.
- Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.

- Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management.
- Report for duty on time wearing a clean and complete uniform at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.

- Service-oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
- Secondary / High school education.
- Trade Certificate or a minimum of 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in area of expertise.
- Good reading and oral proficiency in English language.
