Source and buy materials, goods, and services on behalf of the employer to be resold or used in daily operations. Purchasing Officers maintain stock levels, and may also conduct research, negotiate with vendors, and interview prospective suppliers.Requirements and Qualifications:Diploma in business management, degree or equivalentExtensive knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systemsTwo (2) years previous experience as procurement officer or related position especially in facility management.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)Knowledgeable in ERP systemStrong quantitative, analytical skills and strategize for better solutionsAbility to negotiate, establish, and administer contractsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAccurate and precise attention to detailAbility to work well with management and staff at all levelsGoal-oriented, organized team playerAdequate knowledge of current news in the market including prices
