- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft to ensure they are safe and in compliance with regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues and make necessary repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, and avionics.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on aircraft.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop and implement maintenance and repair plans.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry regulations and best practices for aircraft maintenance and repair.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in aircraft maintenance and repair.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and follow all regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with pilots, flight crews, and other personnel to address maintenance concerns and provide updates on aircraft status.
- Degree or diploma in aviation maintenance or a related field.
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an aircraft technician.
- Experience working with a variety of aircraft types, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards, such as those set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
