· Use Computer Aided Design, 2D, 3D & Graphics (CAD), REVIT-MEP and associated peripheral equipment and software drafting techniques to perform scaling dimensioning, or line locating. · Develop detailed technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for BMS and LMS systems using CAD software. · Translate project requirements and specifications into clear and accurate drawings, ensuring they meet engineering standards and client expectations. · Assist in creating layouts for HVAC control systems, lighting controls, and energy management systems. · Prepare and organize comprehensive documentation packages, including drawings and schematics, for use in installation and commissioning. · Collaborate with project engineers and site teams to ensure drawings align with project specifications. · Update and modify drawings based on project changes, feedback, and site conditions. · Work with cross-functional teams to ensure drawings are consistent with requirements for integrating BMS/LMS systems with other building controls, such as HVAC and fire alarms. · Review and verify all drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards. · Maintain an organized filing system for all drawings and ensure easy access for project teams and contractors.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Skilled in CAD software for developing and editing BMS and LMS drawings and schematics. · Basic knowledge of HVAC, lighting controls, and energy management within BMS.Employment Type
