A Day in the Life As the CMI Project Manager: Data & Analytics , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of L'Oréal by conducting market, consumer and social insights studies. You will successfully manage projects from end to end, leveraging your data & analytics expertise to deliver impactful insights. Key Responsibilities: Data & Analytics Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of market data - market sizing, performance, and competitive intelligence data - to drive strategic decisions. Business Intelligence: Experience in business intelligence is highly advantageous, enabling you to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Problem Solving & Insights Generation: Fetch information from various sources, analyze it effectively, and provide clear diagnoses and recommendations for business issues. Data Analysis & Reporting: Employ statistical and analytical methods, including AI tools, to automate processes in the data analysis and reporting cycle. Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by expertly processing, cleansing, and validating it for analysis. Data Visualization: Communicate insights with impact, clarity, and conviction using your expertise in data visualization software. Customer & Marketing Analytics: Conduct in-depth customer and marketing analytics, providing both strategic and tactical business decision support. Holistic Insights: Provide well-rounded insights by filling information gaps using diverse sources - primary and secondary research, competitive insights, and in-house data analytics. Strategic Collaboration: Accompany stakeholders in the development of strategy, products, and concepts, going beyond research delivery to actively contribute to achieving business objectives. Agency Management: Brief and collaborate effectively with external agencies as needed. Communication & Influence: Possess strong communication skills to effectively deliver analytics results with impact and influence stakeholders. Innovation & Best Practices: Continuously challenge the traditional research methods, staying abreast of data & insights industry evolution, and bringing best practices and new methodologies to projects. Autonomy & Initiative: Work autonomously with minimal intervention, demonstrating a proactive and self-driven approach. Technical & Professional Competencies Required: Research & Insights: Strong understanding of research methodologies and analysis, with the ability to create clear briefs that translate business needs into research requirements. Analytical Expertise: Possess deep analytical expertise, be statistics savvy, and excel at making numbers meaningful for business impact. Data Synthesis: Advise the business by summarizing and leveraging data, including digital, CRM, media, and retailer information. Actionable Recommendations: Synthesize reports into concise, actionable summaries, providing strong recommendations based on business objectives. Creative Problem Solving: Possess an inquisitive and creative mind, enabling you to find innovative solutions to complex challenges. Project Management: Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously. Self-Motivation & Discipline: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and discipline to consistently deliver high-quality results. Teamwork & Collaboration: Thrive in a team environment and excel at building internal networks within the company. Education, Knowledge & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - years of proven experience in a data and analytics environment. Experience in the research industry, ideally with experience in both agency and client-side organizations. FMCG industry experience is highly advantageous.
