Job Title: Commercial/Contracts Manager

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial/Contracts Manager with a strong background in fit-out and interior design projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, managing contracts, pricing, and procurement, and ensuring profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to lead teams to successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the commercial management of fit-out and interior design projects from inception to completion.Oversee the tendering process, including contract negotiation, pricing, and submission.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain strong client relationships.Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control strategies.Assess risks, resolve disputes, and handle variations or claims.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.Prepare and review contract documentation, ensuring all parties meet their obligations.Monitor project progress and financial performance, reporting to senior management.Negotiate terms and conditions, contracts, and agreements with stakeholders.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial or contracts management within the fit-out and interior design industry.Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and commercial practices.Proven experience in managing large-scale fit-out projects and negotiating contracts.Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.

Preferred:Previous experience with high-end residential or commercial interior design projects.
