Job Description
PROCUREMENT- Managing the procurement process for Raw Materials to the factory as per production requirements, from placing the PO to the delivery.
- May train and supervise the work of other members of the purchase team.
- Negotiate price, payment terms and conditions, MOQ and all related purchase matters. Ensure the best procurement as per management instructions.
- Make sure to procure the best quality. Coordinate with QC department to ensure items quality as per expected specifications. Monitor the complaints raised to suppliers.
- Follow up on orders with suppliers to make sure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
- Monitor stock and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Conduct regular supplier audits, evaluate them and select them as per management instructions. Make sure to seek and partner with reliable suppliers and maintain good relationships.
- Maintain records and follow up files of purchases, shipments and related matters.
- Support the NPD process by sourcing new items as per development requirements (price, MOQ, quality, lead time, etc).
- Provide strategic sourcing to always look for cost reduction and better quality for our existing portfolio.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of related work experience in a cosmetics manufacturing industry.
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems and MS Office.
