Key Accountabilities 

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Electrical Department EPC works, to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures.

Review of EPC job specifications and do gap analysis, pre-planning of priorities, establish production objectives, schedules to ensure timely delivery of all projects undertaken with required quality and safety standards.

Review of EPC projects - Cable schedule, Equipment selections, ITP, construction procedures to ensure smooth delivery of the project.

Coordinate with EPC Engineering for parallel engineering - deliverables priority to meet project schedule.

Support EPC Division during bid stage when requested by Department Manager.

Participate in high level owner meetings, 

Evaluate the resource loading for Electrical work across EPC projects allocated. 

Random inspection of worksite in order to make sure the optimum utilization of available resources, identify site modification required and get raise Technical Queries as required.

Organize MC completion activities - follow required documents for mechanical completion and check required certificates.

Control and coordinate with other disciplines along with Project Manager/ Construction Manager for construction sim-ops, clash checks identification and smooth progress of EPC projects.

Approve Material Requisitions for EPC projects and coordinate with Procurement Team to find best alternatives for early delivery.

Discipline employees, according to the disciplinary procedure, whose behaviour contravenes disciplinary code.

Planning and controlling advance preparations, identify construction schedule Base Line deviations and propose corrective actions.

Coordinate with allocated contractors for timely completion of jobs.

Ensure that field reports are done timely and with good justify.

Qualification/Experiences & Skills 

Knowledge and experience in an EPC company or shipyard or offshore construction facility with vessel conversion and fabrication capability.

10 years working experience in EPC company or shipyard with conversion and new building facilitieswith minimum of 2 year as functional head

Thorough knowledge regarding theories, principles, and practices of Oil and gas / marine electrical systems maintenance and repair or closely related field.

Familiar with technical terms related offshore and new construction activities.

Good steel fabrication and welding knowledge

Degree or equivalent in relevant field
