Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Fresh Graduates)Job Openings: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Fresh Graduates)About the Job1.1 Job Scope SummaryThe Mechanical Maintenance Engineer assists the Sr Engineer to analyze and carry out O&M activities to maximize the availability and reliability of equipment using a systematic and analytical approach, troubleshooting, failure analysis, predictive/preventive maintenance, and design improvements.1.2 Job ResponsibilitiesCompliance with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.Takes an active role in working with other O&M personnel, supervising people in the field, and coordinating assigned activities.Ensures that all time worked is recorded on completed work orders.Performs condition-based maintenance data acquisition on plant and equipment using vibration, thermography, visual inspections, ultrasound, and other techniques as appropriate.Review and update O&M plans.Records all equipment changes and any abnormal or unusual conditions that may exist on assigned equipment.Performs daily routine inspections and plant walkdowns, including filling out necessary log sheets and writing maintenance work requests as needed.Analyse and optimise spare parts management for predictive maintenance.Manage and follow up the technical documentation of the equipment (drawings, procedures, certificates).Work closely with the execution teams for failure analyses or improvement proposals.Assist in supervising the activities of external technicians or sub-contractors.Assist in the preparation of budget for O&M activities.Track and monitor plant performance, procedures, and processes.The above job duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature of the work and are not intended to be an inclusive list of all responsibilities. Duties and responsibilities may change or vary depending on the specific needs of the operations.1.3 Educational / Professional Qualifications / Training CertificationsDiploma in Engineering or equivalent certifications.HSE accredited training qualifications.1.4 Job ExperienceMust have at least 3 years as a Maintenance Engineer with substantial experience in one or more of the following specialties: welder, machinist, and pipe/pump/valve technician.Must be knowledgeable in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and other related software.Familiar with HSE standards, procedures, and requirements to control plant operations in a safe and efficient manner.1.5 Core CompetenciesSafety Focus: Encourages and supports the team to adhere to workplace safety regulations, standards, and practices.Technical Expertise: In-depth practical knowledge of processes and practices in own functional area.Processing Details (Analysis/Reasoning): Identifies key facts in a range of technical works and mechanical principles, and distinguishes information that is pertinent to decisions or solutions.Accountability: Demonstrates a sense of responsibility and ownership of own actions and assigned objectives.Adaptability: Demonstrates reliability and the ability to work under pressure, manage conflict, and adapt to changes.Problem-Solving: Focuses on resolving technical challenges and generating solutions with associated benefits, costs, and risks.Teamwork: Understands own role in the team and contributes to achieving team goals while developing constructive working relationships.
