You as a Field Service Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be responsible for providing aftermarket services and support for High Voltage Products maintenance to utility contractors in the UAE. This includes performing preventative maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, warranty repairs, commissioning activities, and developing proactive services responsive to customer requirements.Your ResponsibilitiesStrong knowledge in High Voltage Products Services & Service portfolios, carrying out installation, commissioning, and maintenance services independently.Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of GIS, LTB, AIS, and Power Quality Solutions, identifying technical problems, and making analyses through remote or on-site activities.Ensuring necessary accident prevention measures are observed, abiding by guidelines for work on live system components, and supervising safety practices.Creating and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, providing specialist support and solutions, and recommending service requirements.Acting as the OEM representative during customer interactions, preparing tools and equipment for service jobs, creating service reports, and supporting site maintenance activities.Showing personal leadership, maintaining a teamwork environment, ensuring quality and accuracy of delivery, and updating the installed base in the service database.Establishing long-term customer relationships, responding immediately to issues, and demonstrating technical knowledge to promote product Life Cycle Management.Adhering to quality assurance requirements on various sites and working across domestic and international time zones when required.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.Your BackgroundA bachelor's or diploma in the electrical field is required.Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in High Voltage Products and equipment (GIS, LTB, AIS), Power Quality Products (PQPS) installation, testing, commissioning, repair, and maintenance.Experience in sub transmission GIS installation and commissioning, substation services, preventive maintenance activities, and PQPS Installation & Commissioning services is an added value.Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
