Key ResultResponsibilitiesOversee the overall provision ofbuilding, facilities, and related equipment maintenanceservices.Monitoring build progress, projectscheduling & reporting and ensuring projectqualityEnsuring permits and legal complianceare secured ahead of the projectContribute tostrategic planning by evaluating and projecting future facilityneeds and proposing options to achievethem.Oversee site and infrastructure projectsperformed by outside contractors; conducts regular site visits andspot checks, capital and operational budget reviews and variationanalysis, and reports findings to mitigaterisks.Contributes to the procurement, vendorselection, negotiation, and evaluationprocess.Develop business cases and plans forfurther approval related to improvements, upgrades, new facilitiesetc. Ensures that the initiated projects are managed and completedsatisfactorily, by liaising with the required team of qualifiedexperts like architects, planners, specialist consultants, ensuringthat budget and agreed timelines aremet.Ensure compliance with current Health& Safety Regulations relevant to the industry and to keepabreast of any changes.Develops policies,procedures and protocols and communicated to relevantstakeholders.Prepares an annual business planincluding budgeting plan; identifies and manages the delegatedbudget responsibilities; incurs, authorizes, and controlsexpenditure.Manages human, financial andphysical resources effectively in order to ensure they meet servicestandards and that the respective areas of business are meetingagreed KPIs and objectives and effectively cater for businessrequirements.Works closely with the Legal,Contracts and Procurement Teams to ensure Company'scompliance with regulatory and statuary requirements in allcontractual matters.Assigns and delegatesresponsibilities to subordinate members. Leads and reviews theirperformance and progress in line with set objectives. Spends timecoaching and guiding them to drive high performanceQualifications& Experience15+ years' relevantexperience in civil constructions specifically with industrial,commercial, residential building project management and facilitiesmanagement experience for commercial and non-commercial properties.Of which, a minimum of 5 years in a management role in GCC , in amid-sized organization operating on a regional/multinationallevel.Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering / Architecture / Construction Management or equivalentfrom a recognized university; MBA ispreferred.Post graduate qualification inProject Management would beadvantageous.Previous experience in leadingmajor construction of multimillionsprojects.Must have proven leadership ability,in managing and motivating a core teamHaveexcellent communications skills with strong interpersonal skills,Fluent in English Language (Arabic would beadvantageous)Must be able to develop strongrelationships with clients.Infrastructurelifecycle management, cost control, contract & vendormanagement, project management, financial analysis, are an addedvalue.
