POSITION SUMMARY Provide technical supportand assistance for electronic and electrical control systems,medical equipment containing refrigerants and other equipment asneeded to include operation, maintenance and repair. Maintain theexisting HVAC/R systems in proper repair and condition to ensurethat they remain in full working order. Ensure professional andquality services are provided to Customer in accordance withprogram requirements, while maintaining safety as the highestpriority IAW PWS, laws, codes, guidelines, criteria and standardsestablished by international, US government, PWS and manufacturerguidelines. Train less experienced HVAC/R Technicians in theprincipals and best practices of HVAC/R as well as appropriate useof PPE. Be available within 4 hours to meet on the installationwith Government personnel as required. Must be able to obtain andmaintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship isrequired to obtain a Secret Clearance. QUALIFICATIONS Must have anHVAC certification (e.g., NATE certification, ESCO Institute HVACExcellence Professional Level Technician Certification) Requiresthree (3) years of experience in a similar role preferably at a USmilitary installation. Must have excellent organizational and timemanagement skills. Requires a valid driver's license andcurrent passport. Must have an Active U.S. Government issued SecretSecurity Clearance and maintain it for the duration of thecontract. Must have the ability to successfully pass CENTCOMmedical requirements and maintain requirements for duration ofdeployment. Must be able to obtain a Country visa (as required inline with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).EDUCATION HS diploma or GED required. OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ANDABILITIES Experience providing excellent customer service insupporting contract responsibilities in an OCONUS environment.Relevant overseas experience, preferably in the Middle East withknowledge of local culture and customs. Ability to work in afast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time andrapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and underpressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS This position may be located in anenvironment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularlybe exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment.Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit / 50-55 degreesCelsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing andable to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extremeenvironment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physicalactivities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and movingof items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safetyregulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; andworking outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods oftime.
