The Human Capital Directorate invites applications for Human Capital Directorate position . Your Commitment Reporting to the Head, Talent Acquisition, Human Capital Directorate the successful candidate will undertake recruitment (including the number of positions, skills, qualifications, experience and timeframe required for each position) in line with UDST’s recruitment and Qatarization plans and sourcing approach, with the aim to fairly recruit the right competencies to the right jobs within UDST and in alignment with the established annual plan, strategy, and operating plans for each directorate/department. The incumbent of this position will also be responsible for providing training in collaboration with the University’s Colleges and CPE Directorate, including but not limited to the area of his/her expertise. This role hence has a dual functionality of providing academic talent acquisition services to the Human Capital Directorate and providing training/teaching services to the Colleges and/or CPE Directorate, on an as needed basis. Duties & Responsibilities  The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a yearly plan for Talent Acquisition in alignment with the organization design and workforce plans as well as monitor achievement of Academic Talent Acquisition plans periodically, and escalate deviations from plan to the Head, Talent Acquisition. The successful candidate will develop interview questions and assessment methods, in consultation with the Head, Talent Acquisition and conduct interviews, ensuring the use of appropriate techniques, and facilitate the hiring of the most suitable candidate. As well as, research external Academic Talent Acquisition tools and services to enhance Academic Talent Acquisition process in line with current trends in the market. The successful candidate will support with organizing and attending Talent Acquisition events and job fairs to meet with potential candidates and promote UDST to the local and international labor market. Also, maintain a pool of qualified candidates for each advertised position. Furthermore, continually perform candidate searches on various online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, BAYT., etc.) The successful candidate will establish effective networks both internally (e.g. referral programs) and externally (e.g., agencies, external career fairs) to support sourcing strategies, attend Talent Acquisition events and external job fairs to meet with potential candidates and promote UDST to the local and international labor market. The successful candidate will update UDST’s website regarding openings and vacancies, ensure that the content reflects UDST’s employee value proposition, in coordination with the Information Technology Directorate. The successful candidate will ensure timely communication with Hiring Managers and candidates with respect to status updates, initial / screening interviews with applicants, interview outcomes, job offers, employment contracts, acceptance / rejection letters. This will include liaising with Government Agencies and Government Employment Portals to support in promoting the Talent Acquisition and retention of Qatari nationals in UDST The successful candidate will liaise with facilities to ensure housing and accommodation is provided to the eligible new joiners.

Skills

Qualifications Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, HC or related field. Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Academic Talent Acquisition or related field. Language Fluency in written and spoken English language is required. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is preferred.
