Unwind in the Middle East's only wellness centre in a resort setting, spread across lush botanical gardens.Job DescriptionYou will follow and implement all operational security and safety procedures within the Adventure Park by oversight of all contractors, suppliers or vendors working on Adventure Park. You will protect all guest and staff areas of the Adventure Park from unauthorized access or intruders and to keep the security and Adventure Park management informed on all matters relating to the Security and Safety aspects of the Adventure Park on a daily basis.Main DutiesIncident/Emergency HandlingIncidents and Emergencies are emotionally charged situations, particularly when there are allegations of theft. All guests, staff or other people involved must be dealt with sensitively and professionally so as not to inflame the situation.As required by the Adventure Park Manager, to professionally conduct full inquiries and follow-up activities for all security related incidents.To attend all regular training and meetings called for.Attend daily briefings, and maintain duty in the area of assignment. Ensure that you have the information and equipment you need to do your job.Guest EngagementAssisting in achieving GRI & NPS full engagement in the areas of the Resort/Adventure Park.Helping the Supervisor/Manager to enhance Adventure Park services and facilities.Helping to continuously improve the facility in terms of renewing equipment, brainstorming and coming up with ideas of new initiatives and diversifying the choice facilities for our guests.Ensure safety and security of all Adventure Park users.Be present in the operation for personalized guest interaction, i.e.: Lead and participate in creating guests preferences database, anticipate needs.Enhance the Adventure Park experience, guests to be greeted and assisted accordingly.Elevate island experiences, with special focus on VIP & hotel guests, employee presence, warm welcome, better ambience and new services to be added throughout.Helping the Supervisor/Manager in planning and organizing annual events for hotel guests.Events, Activities and EntertainmentSupporting the team in organizing Adventure Park events and activities.Promote merchandising/retail sales within Adventure Park/recreation department.CommunicationEnsure that all relevant information is provided and taken on board.Ensure that all communication with guests and colleagues is complete, accurate, engaging and positive.Maintain confidentiality of all guest information.Attend daily briefings with the rest of the team.Promptly, accurately and consistently report all guest incidents.Ensure and emphasize prompt solutions and reporting of any issues during the shift.Ensure that any challenges are escalated to Park Supervisor/Manager if needed and ensure that all such incidents are discussed in the departmental meeting.Qualifications1-2 years of experience in a similar position with a luxury hotel/resort or Adventure Park.Certified in Security or Safety Marshall by local Security authority.Knowledge of firefighting equipment, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and basic knowledge of occupational health and safety.
