Functional Responsibilities For new vehicles:

  1. Coordinate with Principal / Vehicle Sales / Inventory team and ensure accessories for new model year vehicles are ordered & available before the Vehicle launch (for 25% of initial vehicles all accessories need to be available / closely monitor vessel arrivals and coordinate with inventory to ensure availability during PDI stage).
  2. Prepare promotional kit for new model year vehicles and ensure it is effectively sold to increase penetration @ the point of sale of new vehicle itself (Target will be fixed based on the numbers of vehicles).
For older vehicles:
  1. Electronic mailer for older customers with promotional offers for pre-MY vehicles to be sent on quarterly basis. Accessories sales from pre-MY will be target driven.
  2. Prepare promotional kit with competitive prices / fitment prices for pre MY vehicles and ensure it is effectively marketed and deals concluded.
Other:
  1. Ensure budgeted SPNV / IBB achieved for new model vehicles. Slowly work towards region top SPNV.
  2. Ensure Quarterly Forecast is provided to principles along with % target penetration for each pack.
  3. Effectively coordinate with Service reception team so that accessories brochure (1 Page) are given to each customer upon service completion.
  4. Effective coordination with accessories champions to be made so that champions are aware on the developments (Product knowledge & training).
  5. Opportunities of accessory sales through retail & garage to be explored.
  6. Aged accessories more than 24 months to be liquidated with special promotion / Pricing.
  7. Plan and execute campaigns to promote accessories.
  8. Display of accessories and merchandise in line with principal policy / Refresh the accessories and merchandise display based on current models / current product range.
  9. Frequent audit at locations to be done to ensure all meets CI requirements.
  10. Non-franchise accessories.
  11. One dress up vehicle for displaying accessories / or have virtual reality of fully dressed up vehicle.
  12. Initiate proposals for Formation of separate accessories department & to have separate accessories target for each branch.
  13. Contribute in developing sales strategy and develop tactical plans to promote the business.
  14. Provide budgetary inputs and agree on the annual sales plan, monitor performance, initiate corrective action where necessary to ensure objectives / KPIs are achieved.
  15. Review and monitor sales plan implementation and results achieved on a regular basis. Make changes to the strategy and approach to adapt to unexpected changes in the business environment.
  16. Communicate sales plan and targets to the sales team and provide them sufficient training inputs, guidance and motivation to achieve targets successfully.
  17. Monitor sales process (aspects such as initial customer contact and reception, clarification of need, identification of prospect, follow-up on initial contact, final closure of sale and quality of sales documentation) to ensure quality in the entire process.
  18. Deal with critical problems, major customer complaints or issues that may be escalated and ensure prompt action or decisions for timely resolution.
  19. Establish and maintain a network of business contacts and relationships within the market to increase market awareness, obtain market/competitor intelligence and customer preference information.
  20. Effective plan, organize and participate in Motor shows & events.
  21. Prepare Accessory / merchandise CAPEX budget every year.
Skills Education * University degree in relevant technical or business-related discipline with tertiary qualification in sales. Experience * 7-9 years total relevant experience. Skills * Knowledge and experience of the automotive sector, with specific emphasis on accessories sales in the local market. * Networking skills. * Ability to think beyond the immediate perceived requirement of the customer. * Communication and interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
