Roles and Responsibilities The Technology Engineer will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of real-time data systems and PI vision dashboards. The role will also support broader deployment engineering tasks, ensuring successful integration and optimization of operational technologies across various domains. Profile matching below criteria only will be contacted. Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  2. 8-10 years of experience, including at least experience in Engineering/ Geology/ Petro-Physics/ Drilling requirements.
  3. Extensive experience in the Exploration and Production (E&P) Engineering.
  4. Excellent knowledge of technical Software applications & workflows.
  5. Proficient communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.
A Technology Engineer designs, implements, and manages technology solutions to support organizational goals. This role involves combining technical expertise with problem-solving and innovation to ensure that systems, processes, and devices function efficiently and effectively. Below are the key skills required for this role: Technical Skills
  1. Systems Design and Integration:
    • Designing and integrating hardware, software, and network systems.
    • Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  2. Programming and Scripting:
    • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
    • Scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  3. Technology Deployment:
    • Setting up and configuring IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
    • Experience with deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
  4. Networking and Security:
    • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including encryption, IAM, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
  5. Cloud Technologies:
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Experience with cloud-native services (e.g., serverless computing, containerization).
  6. Data Management:
    • Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data integration processes.
    • Experience with data analytics tools and platforms.
  7. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
    • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, or network issues.
    • Monitoring system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
  8. Emerging Technologies:
    • Staying current with technologies such as IoT, AI/ML, or blockchain.
    • Developing innovative solutions to leverage these technologies.

    • Adjusting quickly to new technologies and evolving project requirements.
Certifications (Optional but Beneficial)
  1. Cloud and Networking Certifications:
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Engineer.
    • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
  2. Cybersecurity Certifications:
    • CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
  3. Programming and Development:
    • Certifications in specific programming languages (e.g., Oracle Java Certification).
  4. IT Management and Processes:
    • ITIL Foundation or PMP (Project Management Professional).
Tools and Technologies
  1. Operating Systems:
    • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
  2. Monitoring and Automation:
    • Tools like Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, or Kubernetes.
  3. Version Control:
    • Git, SVN, or Mercurial for source code management.
  4. Data Tools:
    • Hadoop, Spark, or Tableau for big data and analytics.
  5. Software Development Tools:
    • Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio, IntelliJ IDEA, or Eclipse.
