Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY:

Determine extrusion machine setup procedures and selection of right dies and tips.
Set controls to regulate raw materials, melting temperatures, sizing rings, vacuum, water flow, air pressure, and chiller tanks.
Read and interpret product run-sheet and drawings.
Control machine parameters to synchronize feed and speed of extrusion.
Identify defects, and necessary process controls to confirm product specifications.
Review inspection results and document findings on a Non-Conformance Report (NCR).
Repairs and joints.
Roll extruded products onto spools.
Analyze the nature of breakdown & organize for spares and repair jobs.
Maintain and control process inventory of tools, spares and consumables.
Ensure company policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to at all times.
Responsible for product quality and process efficiency.
Provide day-to-day supervision of employee job execution, including training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
Ensure proper housekeeping and control of equipment and materials in the manufacturing process.
Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience Required Key:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience working in extrusion process, preferably in the Middle East.
Strong computer skills (Outlook & MS Office).
Fluent in English - ability to communicate with ease and make shift reports. (Arabic language would be an added advantage)
Experience & Knowledge working with QMS.

Qualifications:

HND in Business or Supply Chain discipline.

Quality Assurance:

Carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures and department/area work instructions.
Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department/area.

Training:

Participate in training where required.
