  • Preparation of project P&L, reviewing them with the Project Directors, updating budgets on Projects.
  • Identify risks on projects, quantify them with relevant information and report to management, advising on provisioning to cover risks if necessary.
  • Analyze costs incurred on projects, ensure timesheets of staff are 100% completed, and costs allocated to the correct project.
  • Ensure subconsultant costs (Internal & External) are correctly recorded on projects.
  • Recognize revenues on projects in line with group policies.
  • Control over invoicing/payments on projects.
  • Preparation of Annual budgets/Forecasts and related variance analysis.
  • Preparation/Review of Management reports/Financial statements (monthly, Quarterly, Annual).
  • Preparation/Review of Cash flows.
  • Manage a team of 3-4 junior controllers/project accountants.
  • Liaise with the Project Director on issues arising out of government regulations, if any.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Assist in the annual audit/other audits as may be required/Review financial statements.
  • Ad hoc reports as required by the management.
  • Follow-up with the PD's on Cash Collections and invoicing.
  • Recommend changes in processes/policy.
  • Liaise with Bankers/Vendors/Clients as required.
Qualifications Education: Degree/Masters in Finance/CIMA/CPA/ACCA Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years working as a finance controller on projects.
