Job Summary: The AR Collections role is responsible with the collection of outstanding accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely payments from customers, supporting the overall credit and collections function and reduce aged receivables. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, the ability to work within a team and the ability to handle a high volume of account. Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Collections: Assist with collecting outstanding invoices, follow up with customers via phone and email, and maintain up-to-date records on the status of collections.
Payment Reconciliation: Help reconcile accounts by accurately recording incoming payments and working with the relevant teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Customer Communication: Maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any inquiries or issues related to billing and payments in a professional manner.
Reporting: Support the preparation of weekly and monthly reports on collection status, outstanding accounts, and potential risks for review.
Administrative Support: Support the AR team with general administrative tasks, including ensuring and rectifying accuracy on invoices, and ensure all communications and updates regarding collections are documented.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections.
Skills:
Basic understanding of accounts receivable and collections processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external customer interactions.
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Language Ability: Excellent written and spoken English. Arabic as mother tongue.
