Summary: The MIS Executive is responsible for generating, analyzing, and presenting management information reports (MIS) for the finance function. The role involves working closely with senior finance management to ensure data accuracy, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights to support decision-making processes. This role is crucial to improve financial reporting processes and maintaining effective control over financial data. The Role:

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for management review.
  • Generate customized reports, dashboards, and KPIs tailored to various departmental and executive requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting systems.
  • Design and implement financial reporting formats that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Analyze financial data, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify patterns and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to interpret and present financial results.
  • Support senior management with timely and relevant financial information to facilitate decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Track performance against budget, report variances, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Provide detailed analysis to assist in financial planning.
  • Ensure the smooth integration and optimization of MIS tools and software for efficient financial reporting.
  • Liaise with IT and relevant departments to enhance system functionalities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data updates.
  • Ensure MIS practices comply with corporate governance policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to financial data and reporting processes.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., Accounting, Project Management) to gather necessary data for MIS reports.
  • Support cross-functional teams in providing financial insights to guide project or operational decisions.
  • Regularly review and improve reporting processes, proposing methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in finance and technology to enhance the MIS function.
Competencies:
  • Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-8 Years of experience in similar field
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of real estate financial reporting, project costing, and property management is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
