Establish & review the shop drawings and technical submittals & follow up on the materials take off from contract.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the project construction activities and the project construction team (project engineers, site engineers, site foreman) to run the MEP construction activities as per the approved baseline construction schedule, approved materials, approved method statements, and approved shop drawings.
  2. Ensure project completion within specified time by constantly monitoring progress on a daily basis utilizing proper data and reports.
  3. Manage expenses related to project execution and monitor costs.
  4. Sanction/approve expenses as per approved budget and finance policy.
  5. Follow and run all of the construction activities in full compliance with the company approved HSE policies and procedures.
  6. Review daily work plan program and liaise with the planning engineer to prepare the monthly achieved construction activities, following, monitoring, and scheduling the performance of any subcontracted works and report on their performance to the project manager.
  7. Sign off on completed MEP (mechanical-electrical-plumbing) works with completed documentation and the as-built.
  8. Overall in charge of MEP construction activities on the job site (MEP construction work).
  9. Study the MEP systems & BMS contract specifications/drawings.
  10. Review contractors' claims related to MEP works and prepare recommendations.
  11. Perform all other duties assigned by MEP PM.
  12. Prepare the project work-progress reports.
  13. Manage & control the MEP QA/QC staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical. • 10 - 20 years experience in big construction projects. • Very good user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). • Very good English.
