Experience: 7-9 years (4 in a reputable Design or Design-Build Agency in the UAE) with proven success managing teams of 12 or more and high-profile projects in the UAE, including commercial and residential spaces. Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and project management tools. Knowledge: Expertise in contracts, bidding and tendering, interior fit-outs, civil and MEP works, and a solid understanding of UAE regulations and standards. Mindset: A proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives under pressure and delivers excellence in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities:

Determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, resources, and risk for medium to large projects.
Leads the project team in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans.
Identifies and assembles the appropriate blend of resources and project management to meet project and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or above in Interior Design, Architecture or Civil Engineering. Certifications or Masters in Design Management is a plus.
Certifications: LEED, WELL or other sustainability certifications, PMP, PfMP, CAPM.

Role Highlights: Join Design Matter as our Senior Design Manager and take charge of delivering exceptional interior design projects. This isn’t just about managing schedules—it’s about leading dynamic teams, ensuring design excellence, and transforming visions into reality for commercial & residential spaces. Project Visionary: Design Strategy & Leadership. Lead the project team from concept to completion, ensuring all client requirements are translated into actionable plans. Budget and Cost Guru: Develop and manage timelines, project budgets, forecasts, resources, and cost estimates, ensuring every dirham is well spent. Master Planner: Create and oversee detailed schedules, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Team Management & Mentorship. Mentor junior designers and provide feedback, fostering growth and maintaining high design standards. Design Integration Expert: Develop and implement design strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring consistency across projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to align fit-out, civil, and MEP designs with project goals. Client Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact, presenting project updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining excellent client relationships. Develop and execute comprehensive design strategies that meet client needs and business objectives while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines. Quality Enforcer: Develop and implement quality control measures, ensuring all designs meet high standards and comply with regulations. Supervise the creation and delivery of construction drawings and specifications, ensuring that designs comply with local codes, regulations, and accessibility standards. Problem Solver: Tackle challenges head-on, providing creative solutions for technical and operational roadblocks. Sustainability Advocate: Research materials and finishes, emphasizing innovative, durable, and environmentally friendly options. Has worked on LEED certified Projects. Quality Control:

Develop quality management and assurance plan. Establish operational definitions and quality measures.
Monitor results and ensure implementation of corrective action.
Adhere to PMO guidelines, utilize PMO templates, adhere to PMO reporting requirements, attend audit meetings and rectify non-compliance.
