Job details

Alexander Ash are seeking a mid-level Master Data Management Consultant to support the implementation of a MDM platform. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in MDM, enabling them to effectively collaborate with the vendors implementing the platform, and provide internal support to ensure seamless integration and operation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support the implementation of an MDM platform.
  • Act as an internal SME for MDM, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices in data management.
  • Support the development and execution of data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Work closely with IT, data management teams, and business units to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations for improving data management processes.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the MDM platform.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the MDM system, suggesting improvements as necessary.
  • Train and mentor internal teams on MDM processes and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Master Data Management (MDM) with a focus on implementation and support.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Experience working with large-scale MDM platforms and collaborating with external vendors.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience in project management and change management related to data initiatives.
