- Oversee and coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth transport and logistics functions.
- Monitor shipments and schedules, ensuring all loads are delivered on time and according to customer requirements.
- Liaise with drivers, transporters, and other operational teams to ensure timely execution of transportation tasks.
- Manage and update records of shipments, deliveries, and driver status, ensuring data accuracy.
- Serve as the point of contact for introducing, explaining, and ensuring the adoption of the load board system.
- Provide training and guidance to drivers and transporters on how the online bidding system on the load board works.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to the load board, offering ongoing support and solutions to drivers and transporters.
- Monitor usage of the load board by drivers and transporters, ensuring effective participation and bid management.
- Evaluate feedback from drivers and transporters regarding the system and work closely with IT and software teams to suggest improvements.
- Facilitate clear communication with drivers and transporters regarding load availability, bidding processes, and schedules.
- Ensure drivers and transporters understand the terms of agreements and provide guidance on efficient operations.
- Promote the benefits of using the load board, such as increased load visibility and potential earnings.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports related to transport operations and load board usage.
- Work with the fleet management team to ensure vehicle and driver readiness for transportation tasks.
- Manage operational issues as they arise, ensuring fast and efficient resolution to minimize delays or disruptions.
- Ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Ensure that drivers adhere to the safety guidelines and operational procedures during transport.
- Handle customer inquiries related to transport operations, provide updates, and address concerns in a timely manner.
- Support customer-facing teams by ensuring the fulfillment of delivery timelines and service expectations.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in logistics, operations, or transport management.
- Previous experience with online load boards or digital bidding platforms is a plus.
- UAE Driving License is Mandatory
- Familiarity with transport management systems (TMS) and load boards (preferably).
- Basic knowledge of online bidding systems and digital tools.
- Communication : Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus), with the ability to train and explain technical concepts to drivers and transporters.
- Problem Solving : Ability to troubleshoot issues related to the load board and find solutions for smooth operations.
- Time Management : Efficient in managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Service : Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, drivers, and transporters.
