We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Duties may also include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Forklift Operator must have a valid certification to operate a forklift and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Operate forklifts to load and unload materials.
Transport goods to designated locations in a safe and efficient manner.
Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating the forklift.
Assist with inventory control by accurately recording materials handled.
Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize workflow.
Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Follow company policies and procedures related to forklift operations.
Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of forklift operation.

Qualifications for Forklift Operator job role:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift certification or license.
Previous experience operating a forklift.
Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
