Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Revenue, the Assistant Revenue Manager is responsible for strategic analysis and management of inventory and rate strategy to maximize total revenue opportunities:
  1. Develops Action Plans to reach daily / monthly / yearly KPIs based on Total Revenue Management.
  2. Completes all rooms forecasting to accurately project demand and pick up for groups and transient, both short and long term.
  3. Coordinates updates/stay restrictions or rate changes to reflect the hotel selling strategy in response to the market demand.
  4. Maintains records pertaining to market segments, transient pace numbers, forecasts, and other rooms’ data.
  5. Participates in the annual budgeting, marketing and strategic planning process.
  6. Records competitive set pricing and yield strategies and completes analysis on the market and its opportunities based upon the competition and previous history.
  7. Prepares the weekly Revmax meetings for each of the 3 properties and shares the same in a timely manner with the Cluster Revenue Team beforehand.
  8. Participates in weekly Revmax and Group Meetings and presents weekly revenue agenda items.
  9. Monitors transient potential and group bookings daily to set up the pricing and availability control for all reservation distribution sources.
  10. Achieves potential market position through a maximization of RevPAR index over the competitive set.
  11. Works with DRM to evaluate and maintain group thresholds.
  12. Completes monthly summaries required for the CDRM.
  13. Ensures rate leakages are handled and solved in a timely manner. Uses Fornova system to resolve all the rate leakages for all connected partners.
  14. Ensures rate plans are correctly indexed / loaded and distributed to all channels.

Qualifications

  1. Strategic thinking, long-range planning, and vision are foremost attributes with a strong analytical mindset.
  2. 1 year of Revenue experience.
  3. Problem-solving and team-building skills.
  4. Highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
  5. Strong understanding or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, PC, and office applications.
  6. Ability to work independently, yet respond to internal customers' needs.
