Senior MEP Technical Engineer (Pipeline, NEOM) Location: NEOM, Saudi Arabia Job Type: Full-time Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Engineering Job Summary: The Senior MEP Technical Engineer (Pipeline) is responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of pipeline projects within the NEOM development. The role involves design review, coordination, execution, and ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities:1. Design & Technical Coordination:

  • Review and validate MEP design drawings, technical specifications, and calculations related to pipeline systems.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, IEC, and Saudi Building Codes).
  • Provide technical support and solutions for MEP issues during the design and construction phases.
  • Coordinate MEP systems with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration.
2. Project Management & Execution:
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of MEP systems for pipeline infrastructure.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical and operational issues in MEP installations.
3. Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with NEOMs sustainability and environmental guidelines.
  • Implement safety procedures for MEP pipeline works, following industry best practices.
  • Work closely with regulatory authorities for approvals and permits.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and progress updates for management.
  • Support procurement teams in selecting materials and equipment that meet project specifications.
Qualifications & Experience: Education:
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Masters degree in a relevant field (preferred).
Experience:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in MEP engineering, focusing on pipeline infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working in large-scale infrastructure, water supply, or utility projects.
  • Prior experience in Saudi Arabia / GCC projects is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems in pipeline engineering.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM, and other relevant tools).
  • Understanding of sustainability, energy efficiency, and smart infrastructure concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment like NEOM.
Preferred Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • LEED / Estidama Certification
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional registration
