We are looking for a PRO, role to be based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple job responsibilities, set priorities and to work with cross functional teams. Your role:
- Initiates, reviews and manages the application/renewal/cancellation process for work and residence permits and visas for all employees and dependent family members. Checks visa/work permit/residency-Emirates ID, Health insurance, visa medical test applications for completeness and accuracy in accordance with applicable laws, processes and regulations.
- Ensures on-time and accurate preparation, coordination and submission with necessary supporting documents to concerned Government authorities and typing offices and follows up until completion.
- Keeps up-to-date with any changes or expected changes of laws and regulations issued by the Government authorities regarding visa, work permit or other related matters.
- Coordinates with health insurance providers and staff for all required services such as application, issuance, cancellation and/or replacement of insurance cards, requisitions of travel insurance coverage letters, etc.
- Communicates with respective organisation members during the visa process on updates.
- Creates and maintains the necessary reports and shares with line manager to plan the work priority.
- Coordinates with MOHRE & Immigration as and when required.
- Manages the document’s translation and attestation as required.
- Highlights any potential risks, inconsistencies, concerns to the line manager.
- Familiar with Emiratisation.
- Related admin adhoc duties.
- Support Governance Coordinator as required.
- Build and maintain a network of contacts to support your daily tasks both onsite and offsite.
- Support employees with any immigration request and requirements.
- Protect the interest of the company in accordance with governmental authorities, laws and regulations.
- Maintain updated records and files in accordance with Personal Data Protection Law and labour law rules and regulations.
- Collect and process all necessary documentations for permanent & temporary gate pass applications.
- UAE National
- Diploma/Higher Diploma/Bachelor degree in related field
- Must hold a related qualification and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Minimum 2 to 5 years local experience liaising with immigration, labour department and other government departments for all employee affairs
- With up-to-date knowledge of immigration and ministry of labour law, rules and regulations
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills (spoken and written)
- Excellent problem solving and quality control skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proactive, responsible and cooperative
- Local governance exposure experience
- Driving license and own car
- PRO Licence required
- Previous experience in working with MOD entities
