Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Urban Planner as Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Independently collect, assimilate and manage land use planning, urban design and landscape design project-related data.Prepare constraints mapping and required documents.Assist in preparation and participation of public information meetings and hearings.Prepare conceptual and schematic designs for residential and mixed-use buildings of all types.Prepare detailed urban designs for public spaces of all types.Prepare high-quality illustrations for master plans and specific plans.Define project goals, scope, and timelines, aligning them with urban planning objectives.Allocate resources, lead project teams and monitor progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.Identify and address potential challenges and changes, employing problem-solving skills to keep the project on track.Perform other duties as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Urban Planning or closely related field.A minimum of 15 years experience in regional and local planning and design, with a strong foundation in project management.AICP and PMP certification desired.PMI Knowledge.Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.Extensive graphics and report document production experience.Experience with GIS.Strong oral and written communication skills.Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.May require the ability to travel.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.Preferred QualificationsRegistration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).8+ years' demonstrated relevant experience in the mentioned field.University degree in engineering.Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field.Experience with MS Project.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
