AtkinsR alis Business is hiring an experienced Information Manager for our Middle East delivery team. This person will be carrying out a mix of functions that span from internal process improvements to supporting project delivery. The successful candidate should be a people, process, technology focused individual whose job will be to ensure our project delivery teams adhere to standards and the best industry methods. The candidate will also actively support project teams on proposal and project delivery tasks. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Master/bachelor's degree in architectural or civil engineering and 12+ years experience in AEC industry.
  2. 8+ years experience in digital delivery of complex, multidisciplinary project (Information Management/BIM).
  3. 3+ years experience in digital delivery of Rail/Metro Projects and preferably Middle East.
  4. Experience with RTA Metro project is desirable.
  5. Information Management certification by a relevant institution e.g. BRE, Operam Academy, RICS etc.
  6. Software certification such as Revit, Civil3D etc. is desirable.
  7. PMC Experience is desirable.
KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  1. A thorough understanding of the data, information management and BIM including compliance to ISO 19650 standards.
  2. Sound knowledge in engineering design and to assist design team in Self/Inter disciplinary services coordination, quality compliance etc.
  3. Expert knowledge of BIM authoring tools from various software providers such as Autodesk, Bentley in delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
  4. Expert knowledge of BIM federation and co-ordination platforms such as Navisworks, BIM Track for performing tasks like clash detection and resolution, model walkthrough and issue tracking and management.
  5. Expert knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) such as BIM360 and ProjectWise.
  6. Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as PowerBI.
  7. Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo.
  8. Experience on information management/BIM uses such as construction sequencing, quantity take-offs, virtual reality, augmented reality etc.
  9. Strong ability to develop technical documentation for Information Management.
  10. Experienced in implementation, training and utilization of Information Management tools from Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble etc.
  11. Effective communication, coordination and collaboration skills.
  12. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
JOB DUTIES
  1. Single point of contact regarding information management and digital to both the client and contractor.
  2. As an Information Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the digital content is produced, stored, shared and exploited using the latest technologies and practices as agreed by the business and as per the client requirements.
  3. As an Information Manager, you will be responsible to review and approve Information Management documents e.g. Pre- and Post-BEP, federation strategy, Level Of Information Need, responsibility matrix etc.
  4. Ensure internal and external capability and capacity processes are implemented and followed.
  5. Ensure that the project MIDP is developed and maintained by the contractor as per Client requirements.
  6. Monitor the proper and compliant use and setup of the project CDE(s).
  7. Perform multidisciplinary clash detection, identification, and resolution.
  8. Responsible to develop, maintain and deliver project progress reports to the client regarding information management/digital.
  9. Ensure that the following are properly implemented, compliant and applied by the contractor:
    1. BIM execution plan
    2. Information Exchange Processes
    3. Self-disciplinary coordination workflows including clash matrixes
    4. Check and review processes (both technical and quality) for deliverables utilizing digital tools
    5. File naming convention for deliverables and process for updating status and revision codes in compliance with ISO 19650
    6. LOD/LOI to be generated in BIM Models across stages in the project lifecycle
    7. All other Platform process and deliverables as per the client EIR.
  10. Audit task teams in the delivery of their Task Information Delivery Plans, to meet the Appointing Parties Requirements.
  11. Support strategic global and regional digital initiatives (As Required).
  12. Support ISO19650 certification.
  13. Support Digital Lead regarding all required tasks (As Required).
  14. Responsible for information management team resource allocation and planning.
  15. Leading the Information Management team for the project.
