Job details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Display Engineer with over 8 years of expertise in designing, installing, and maintaining commercial display solutions such as LED walls, LCD panels, and digital signage systems. The ideal candidate must have excellent AutoCAD skills for technical design and project layouts, the ability to lead end-to-end project delivery, and a strong focus on mentoring junior engineers while ensuring high-quality project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Project Design & Planning

  1. Design and implement customized display solutions, including hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
  2. Assess client requirements and create detailed technical plans, layouts, and BOQs.
  3. Conduct site surveys and evaluate environmental and structural requirements for display installations.
  4. Ensure solutions comply with safety, electrical, and HSEQ standards.
  5. Install, manage, and supervise the installation of large-scale LED walls, LCD screens, video walls, and associated AV systems.
  6. Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and functionality of displays and commissioning the systems.
  7. Oversee the integration of content management systems and connectivity solutions.
  8. Ensure seamless integration with power, data, and network systems.
  9. Perform comprehensive testing of systems, including image quality, network connectivity, and performance metrics.
  10. Identify and resolve technical issues promptly during implementation.

Maintenance & Support

  1. Oversee annual maintenance contracts, scheduling preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting critical issues.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance protocols to ensure maximum uptime.
  3. Handle complex technical issues, including diagnosing hardware faults, firmware updates, and system reconfigurations.
  4. Liaise with vendors for warranty claims and advanced repairs.
  5. Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, and system upgrades.
  6. Provide detailed technical reports and recommendations to clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree holder.
  2. 8+ years of experience in commercial display systems, AV integration, or related domains.
  3. Proven expertise in creating and executing AutoCAD-based designs for large-scale projects.
  4. In-depth knowledge of commercial displays, including LED, LCD, OLED, and digital signage.
  5. Proficiency in signage software platforms.
  6. Strong understanding of AV/IT system design, structured cabling, and display calibration.
  7. Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including power distribution and load calculations.
  8. Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  10. Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  11. Timely delivery of high-quality installation projects.
  12. Optimal system performance with minimal downtime.
  13. Improved team productivity through mentoring and leadership.
