As a Finance Business Partner – Middle East, you shall take the lead role in providing financial and strategic advice to the business and take strong personal ownership for achieving required business outcomes. Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to:

  • Be a strategic partner to the regional Commercial Directors in all key business decisions
  • Provide full transparency towards the Head of Finance / VP Finance for segments and towards Global Finance
  • Deliver commercial results by actively influencing day-to-day decisions through tracking of underlying drivers of sales and profitability regarding price, volume, sales mix, promotions etc.
  • Drive the commercial growth initiatives to deliver on strategic growth targets, validating key milestones, challenging deliverables and continuously seeking out gap closing opportunities
  • Prioritize a regular, open and transparent review of customer, brand and channel profitability and drive resulting actions, resulting in customer deep-dives.
  • Conduct performance reviews with Commercial Directors on a regular basis to identify under-performance, align on key value drivers and drive short term gap closing measures
  • Challenge the commercial teams, with data driven insight, to consider new and innovative ways to deliver top line growth and drive value and mitigate any commercial risks.
  • Accountability for new business wins and large scale tender processes
  • Manage commercial and marketing overheads and challenge the marketing team to demonstrate marketing effectiveness
  • Consider how customer segmentation can be used to drive commercial finance actions
  • Provide detailed business insights and commentary on reporting and forecasting variances and trends. Bring a real focus to forecast accuracy, ensuring reasons for persistent inaccuracies are understood and addressed
  • Full accountability for ensuring that pricing strategies are implemented to mitigate the impact of cost increases and protect profitability
  • Ownership of the commercial forecasting process within region
The role will be based in Bahrain and will report into Head of Finance – Middle East. Furthermore, we expect that you have:
  • Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent
  • 5 years commercial finance experience at a senior level
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Stakeholder management, Forecasting and Strategic thinking
  • Relationship building and collaboration
  • Business Acumen, Customer focus, Driving results
