Your profile

Role Brief:

We have an amazing opportunity for a strong commercial leader to join our team as Head of International Business Development based in Dubai. This role will work closely with our Founder, CEO and CCO leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and client satisfaction. This role is critical in bridging internal teams with external opportunities, ensuring seamless delivery of tailored solutions that meet client needs and align with organisational objectives. The role encompasses oversight of product proposition, proposal development, contracting, and client onboarding, while ensuring a smooth transition to account management.

Responsibilities:

Product / Proposition

  • Act as the voice of “International” in the organisation’s proposition and roadmap prioritisation, ensuring global relevance and market needs are represented.
  • Collaborate with our Product team to assess and implement necessary variations to standard products/services for specific client opportunities.
  • Work closely with Marketing to refine and enhance sales collateral, including demos, to ensure they align with the client’s expectations and the international market landscape.

Proposal Stage

  • Lead the process of transforming high-level client opportunities into structured, well-defined proposals by:
    • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of client requirements and documenting them in detail.
    • Engaging internal teams to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions, timelines, and costs, ensuring alignment with organizational capabilities.
  • Ensure proposals are clear, competitive, and positioned to meet both client needs and business objectives.

Contracting

  • Own and drive the timeline for agreement negotiation and signature, ensuring key deliverable dates are met.
  • Collaborate with our CFO and legal team to:
    • Provide clear briefs for drafting and refining contracts.
    • Incorporate all scoped opportunity elements, including client deliverables, commercial aspects, and project timelines, into the agreements.

Post-Contracting: Internal Briefing

  • Oversee the transition from signed contract to operational handover, ensuring internal teams are well-prepared to deliver on client expectations.
  • Communicate contract requirements, key deliverables, and client expectations clearly to all relevant internal teams to enable a smooth transition from contract signature to launch.

Account Management

  • Facilitate a seamless transition of client relationships to the Account Management team upon contract signature.
  • Maintain involvement during the transition phase by:
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for the client to address any queries or concerns.
    • Introducing Account Managers to clients and providing detailed briefing to ensure they are fully equipped to manage the relationship moving forward.

General Strategic Leadership

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment between strategic partnerships and broader organisational goals.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and client-centricity in all aspects of partnership development and execution.
