WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

  • Assist the IT Manager in the operation of all computer hardware and/or software installation and maintenance.
  • Serve as secondary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware and/or software.
  • Manage technology/asset life-cycle, ensuring necessary equipment (PCs, servers, telecom-related etc.) is ordered and available.
  • Accountable for disaster recovery and business continuity as it relates to technology.
  • Foresee, identify and resolve system(s)’ performance problems.
  • Ensure technology assets are secure and well-maintained in accordance with Rixos policies and standards.
  • Install, monitor, and maintain telecommunications equipment including cabling and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Perform adds/moves/changes/deletions.
  • Troubleshoot high-speed Internet access problems.
  • Escalate problems as appropriate through IT Manager.
  • Desktop Support.
  • Image desktops, install new software applications, apply patches, and map drives to correct server/network.
  • Support the hotel in resolving hardware issues through escalation with hardware partners, including Computers, Servers, Routers, Switches, Cables, PABX, Monitors, Screens, Point of Sale devices, and other active components.
  • Ensure all Accor IT Policies and Guidelines are applied in the hotel and that only original and properly licensed application programs are running on the hotel’s systems.
  • Maintain a good relationship with software suppliers and support the hotel in resolving software issues by escalation to software suppliers.
  • Move/add/change PCs/peripherals; migrate data when necessary.
  • Maintain a full inventory of all hardware and software-related supplies.
  • Maintain logs of computer hardware and service calls on computer hardware.
  • Manage configuration records, program files, and data files on the computer system.
  • Monitor the performance of computer software and maintain logs of performance reports, error and integrity checks, and system malfunctions with solutions.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in IT, fresher or 1-year experience in 4-5 star hotel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
