Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ITS Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to manage all ITS works including integration and SCADA of projects such as open cut tunnels, roads, and bridges. What You'll Be Doing:

Develop project schedules for project activities.
Work with project staff to execute the project on schedule and within budget.
Manage clients and in-house staff to bring projects in at cost.
Act as the primary liaison between clients and project staff, establishing and implementing procedures to provide agreed-upon services.
Prepare and oversee preparation of technical documents, including manhour estimates.
Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, and specific client requirements.
Provide direction, make decisions, and obtain additional assistance as needed to ensure project completion per schedule and budget.
Promote technical excellence on the project, including the Quality Improvement Process.
Ensure adequate checking is performed in accordance with policy and procedure.
Coordinate work between Home Office and Site staff through clear and frequent communications.
Advise upper management on problem areas, staffing requirements, delays, scope changes, or other events affecting project completion and profitability.
Initiate and review change order requests for additions, deletions, or changes to the original scope of work.

What Required Skills You'll Bring: The ITS Specialist should have experience in a wide variety of ITS/SCADA engineering assignments, including ITS/SCADA system integration, coordination, and supervision, applying engineering techniques and analyses. This role requires a fully qualified professional, proficient in engineering theories and practices, with experience in CAE (computer-aided engineering)/CAD (computer-aided design) and BIM applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.

Bachelor's Degree in engineering from a reputable institution.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in ITS and traffic operation projects, including tunnels and integration.
A thorough knowledge of ITS operations and traffic management principles and systems.
Previous experience dealing with ITC (Integrated Transport System) is a must.
Substantial experience managing one or more large traffic operations contracts within a traffic control center.
Experience in at least one of the following contract-related areas: systems engineering, systems integration, big data analysis, traffic software development, or traffic/transportation engineering.
Experience in long-range strategic program planning activities.
Demonstrated success in keeping programs on schedule and within budget while meeting performance goals, and in effectively managing multiple team members.
Demonstrated leadership and management experience, especially with staff in different geographic locations.
Knowledge of local and regional traffic operations is desirable.
